With Gene on the stage...

I still can't believe this really happened. But it did. I was on the stage of Masters of Rock together with Gene Simmons from KISS. But the way there was quite comlicated...

It started when the promoters informed that there will be no signing session of Gene at the festival. Instead only few fans will able to win photo session with Gene. So we just waited what competition conditions we will have to fulfil. They were easy. Just do Gene make-up and register yourself for the competition. We planned to have Gene make-up anyway so no problem for us. After our registration we just waited for 6PM when they should choose the winners. And we won! We got the backstage pass for the photo session and they let us know it will happen around 8PM. I don't have this feeling because of some bands but we really wanted to cry because we were so happy (but we didn't cry, don't worry :D ). At 8PM they said us Gene was late and we should come back at 9:45PM. So we did it but the time was running and nothing was happening. And it was already very close to Gene's concert time. We started to be really nervous about that. And it showed we were right. Because they said us instead of photo session we will go on the stage to sing a song with Gene. What the fuck? Are you serious? I don't wanna go on the stage. Well, we coudn't do anything with that. So just go on the stage or nothing. 

Boys were on the stage during Love It Loud song and then there was time for girls. We all were so fucking nervous. And even more I knew there were some members of Lordi watching and how much they love KISS. The situation when your favourite band is watching you on the stage with their favourite band (or at least the part of it) :D We got Do You Love Me song. Well, what to say. KISS has better songs than this one. 

After all, this experience let some bittersweet feelings in me. We so wanted photo with Gene and it didn't happen. Of course, probably I will never stand on the stage of Masters of Rock again. It was amazing to see all those people down watching you.
